10th Nationwide Inspection Campaign Launched to Monitor Compliance at Fuel Stations and Service Centers

The Permanent Executive Committee for Fuel Stations and Service Centers has launched its 10th inspection campaign, with more than 300 inspectors from 11 government bodies participating. The four-week campaign will cover 23 cities and governorates across the Kingdom.
Launched last Sunday, the campaign aims to ensure compliance with regulatory and technical requirements. Inspectors are checking the availability and quality of petroleum products by sampling various grades of gasoline, diesel and oil. They are also verifying that facilities hold the necessary licenses and permits, including metrological verification labels on fuel pumps, valid worker licenses and environmental permits. The inspections cover the condition and maintenance of mosques and service facilities at fuel stations, along with other regulatory criteria targeted by the campaign.
The previous campaign in February resulted in the full closure of eight stations for failing to meet minimum regulatory requirements. Another 141 stations were partially shut down due to violations related to measurement and calibration standards. Authorities recorded more than 1,900 violations and issued orders for corrective action.
The committee urged the public to report violations via the Ministry of Energy’s Partner Care Center at 1914 or 8001244777, via the Partner Service app, or through the committee’s official X account (@FSEC_KSA).
The Permanent Executive Committee is chaired by the Ministry of Energy and includes the Ministries of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Interior, Finance, Transport and Logistics Services, Tourism, Media, Commerce, Environment, Water and Agriculture, Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and Human Resources and Social Development. The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) also takes part in all campaigns.
