Launch of the Region’s First Wind Energy Systems Factory

Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company has launched commercial production at its Al Yamamah Wind Energy Systems Factory in Yanbu Industrial City. Supervised and supported by the Ministry of Energy, the project marks a pioneering step in advancing the Kingdom’s transition to clean energy and contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The factory is among the most advanced of its kind, specializing in the manufacturing of wind towers. It has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of high-quality towers, engineered to heights exceeding 130 meters and diameters of up to 6 meters, making them suitable for the latest wind-turbine technologies.

With a team of skilled professionals, the facility promotes innovation and is set to become a key hub for renewable-energy manufacturing, meeting the needs of local and global markets. The project reflects Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company’s continued commitment to supporting the energy transition and strengthening the Kingdom’s global standing in the renewable-energy industry.
